kanamit: buongiorno: I was reading Twombly and Rauschenberg were once lovers before Rauschenberg and Johns. I found a link to a photo of Cy (nickname by his father after Cyclone Young, a pitcher for Chicago white sox back in the day) in Rome by this statue that was taken by Rauschenberg. Why good poetry is hard to read
magicmolly: Not because it is syntactically kooky or may contain fancy words (everyone has a dictionary, or a Dictionary.com)— but because it is so dense with content. It is like someone took all the parts you underlined in your favorite book and squashed them together on a page. With no filler. It takes a strong stomach to digest such density! A strong stomach and lots of practice.
