He had planned a similar project in 1969, but it never came to fruition. It’s said that the best spots to view the work are at La Loma Bridge, Colorado Street Bridge and Brookside Park. The performance is in conjunction with the exhibition at Pasadena’s Armory Center for the Arts ‘Installations Inside / Out’, which is his first solo institutional project in the L.A. area since 1994.
