iheartmyart: Francis Alÿs, Modern Procession (video still), 2002, 7.22 minutes I totally get the express symbolism of the art as religion, and the explicit irony of worshipping a ready made. But still I do not really love this as a piece of art. Guess I’m too familiar with with modern art for this to be effective/ surprising (not necessarily the same thing).
