I am so happy and proud to finally share this; I started The File Arts ;a new online art gallery that sells digital art editions to support artists working in digital media.

Every edition is a download containing: the original art as a jpg in its highest resolution available, the original source file, in the format of the program the artist worked in, to give you a feel for the process and method of construction, a psd with background information on the art and artist, and cropped and resized versions of the image to be used as a desktop pattern or iphone or ipad wallpaper or a twitter background. All to make it as easy and engaging as possible to enjoy the art in its original digital format.

The site is launching with three editions; Palmtree, by Astrid Hermes, Saltless by Steve Kim, and Kylie by me, Andre Brocatus. I will be adding new editions every month. Subscribe to the mailing list to be kept up to date.
